Get ready for another exciting day of cycling with the San Fairy Ann CC annual sportive, supporting the Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex. We will again have the short fresh 30-mile Darling Buds route alongside the challenging 100-mile Kent Tiger Ride and the scenic 60-mile Cruiser Classic.
Whether you are a seasoned pro or a keen amateur rider, the SFA Sportive is a beautiful challenge to take on. The 2027 sportive includes three routes that all offer spectacular views, quiet country roads and, of course, the odd challenging climb! Enjoy the Kent scenery while completing a stunning route. Take in the warm welcome of San Fairy Ann CC.
This SFA cycling event - one of our top events of 2027 - starts and finishes at the Memorial Hall, Goudhurst Road, Marden, Kent TN12 9JX, easily accessible by train. The Tiger Ride and Cruiser Classic will each have a King and Queen of the Mountains award.
The routes showcase the Weald AONB for its rolling hills, diverse landscapes and wild untamed flora and fauna. The Long route makes its way to the most south-easterly reaches of the Kent Downs to the seaside at Hythe.
Our Kent events are always popular, being so accessible for lots of riders so if you want to join us we will be opening entries later in 2026. Grab an early bird discount if you are quick.
This event helps awareness of the fantastic work of the Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex and will add to the £67,000 the event has raised over the years for this invaluable cause. It has helped them fund ground-breaking medical techniques and treatments, now used ‘roadside’ to give patients the best possible outcomes.
