It is awarded annually to the fastest club rider in the Club 12-Hour Championship.
Trophy history:
In 1937, the Racing Committee sent their thanks to Messrs. F. and J. Gilbert for the Trophies that they had presented to us for the 200 mile Individual Time Trial.
This trophy was later changed to the 12 hour Trophy.
