The much-loved and long-running summer series of Audax rides from Bethersden are back in 2026. After 22 years of evolution - starting life as the Fairies Flat 5 - the three longer rides still take you to the iconic cycling destination of Dungeness, which is the nearest you can get to the end of the world in Kent. And the 50km Summer Breeze still takes you to Headcorn Airfield cafe. There’s a great choice of distances to suit a wide range of riders. Which one will you choose?

Apart from the pleasant Kent countryside, the flatish routes and the quality of food provided, participants often welcome the traditional Fairies welcome, TLC and legendary soup.
Audax UK is 50 years old in 2026 and is encouraging more women to enter events - hoping to get as many women as men riding, hence the 50:50@50 moniker. There will be special medals, badges and frame stickers available at the end, including an even more special badge for women participants in the 50 and 100km.
Entries will close one week before the event. There are no entries on the day except for the 50km Summer Breeze.
The maps, routesheets and rider briefing are all now current for 2026.
