Background Information:

The Reliability Trial is a traditional end of season test of a club’s cycling capability. It aims to get everybody out on their bikes for the biggest final ride of the year. It is an opportunity for all the clubs in Kent to show what they can do by competing for the Rootes Trophy which is awarded each year to the club which wins the most points.

Points are awarded based on the number of riders and the distances achieved in the time limit.

HOWEVER in order to allow all clubs to have an equal chance of lifting the trophy the points will be adjusted based on the size of the club so we need everybody to ride.

All proceeds from the ride will be donated to the Air Ambulance.

There are more details on our Reliability Trial Events page on our website and also on the Kent Cycling Association page for the event Link to KCA Website
