Wet and mucky roads awaited but thankfully no ice as 7 turned up at East Malling for our ride. Russell suggesting a cafe stop at Brenchley led to him leading us out through the Research Station joining Sweets Lane to meet Wateringbury Road for a run down Red Hill. Across the level crossing for the climb up Bow Hill for the reward of going down Kenward Road to Yalding. At this point Andy Wood returned to East Malling hoping but failing to find his lost Garmin. If only there was a Find my Garmin app. Tony taking over the lead with a loop taking in Lucks Lane, a climb up Crook Lane to Castle Hill to Brenchley and Grays Cafe.  Great service and value as always. Back down Pearsons Green Road, skirting Paddock Wood to Tudeley and Golden Green.  Through Hadlow and a short stretch of the A26 then Matthews Lane and our climb of Gover Hill.  Through Mereworth and our last climb of the day, Butcher's Lane to Kings Hill for a fast run down the by pass and back to East Malling. 38.2 miles, 1624 feet of climbing at an average of 12.6 mph.
